The user-friendly approach of nutrition data input will help you determine how many carbohydrates, protein and dairy products, fats, fruits, vegetables and sweets you have consumed in your everyday meals.
To know how foods of each food group are represented in our meals, we just have to check our 24alife app. Our 24alife nutrition experts have adapted the food recommendations to the modern lifestyle and also included algorithms based on the ideal amounts of nutrition and modified guidelines suited for each user individually.
The app creates a personalized food pyramid according to your logged meals and rates your eating habits. For the rating to be precise, we tried to take all aspects of healthy eating into account. That is why the app encourages you to determine and enter the following data for each meal:
- type (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack)
- location (home, restaurant, fast food restaurant)
- time (connected to the meal type)
- more meal info (we measure different foods in tennis balls, toast slices, and teaspoons)
The system automatically populates the pyramid with all the available food group data and shows us whether all food groups were consumed within the recommended quantities by coloring different groups (red – "not really good", yellow – "getting better", and green – "great") and percentage marks.
