About Symposium
Contemporary lifestyle that came with the technological development takes a toll on our health, by bringing intense work strain causing burnout and its consequences on individual level, as well as global economical and public health care problems. But on the other hand it is possible to use the smart technology to bring people back to themselves and also together to increase preventive health awareness. Research shows that improving the quality of personal and professional life by increasing wellbeing also has positive effect to the efficiency, productivity, and loyalty to the organizations, corporations, and society as a whole.
In the last decades, not taking active preventive health-care in our own hands has caused individual health problems to become global. Many successful organizations all over the world have noticed this trend and are already taking measures in fields of workplace health and wellness. Taking good practices from all over the world into consideration, we were glad to organize the first International HLS in New Delhi, India with our partners.
By organizing the event in New Delhi, our intention was to deliver new knowledge, technology, and different globally used programs of workplace health and wellbeing to the local audience: HR professionals, professionals, providing the healthy lifestyle in organizations and other interested individuals. By doing so, our idea was to raise life-quality of the residents, relieve curative healthcare, and improve economic efficiency.
Title of the International HLS New Delhi 2016 was:
