Mikropis partners with Mayo Clinic to deliver enhanced personalized healthy lifestyle solutions

Mikropis Holding and Mayo Clinic sign agreement for strategic partnership; incorporate Mayo's database of knowledge with Mikropis's 24alife™ mobile and web solutions

(Rochester, USA, June 22, 2017) The 24alife™ family of solutions for healthy living reached an important milestone in its goal to improve the health and wellness of individuals across public and private employers, governmental entities, associations and other groups. On Thursday, June 22, the Mayo Clinic and Mikropis Holding (headquartered in Slovenia) signed an agreement for a long-term strategic partnership to leverage Mikropis' development and technology capability with the Mayo Clinic's extensive database of health and well-being knowledge.

This partnership significantly broadens the relationship that Mikropis and the Mayo Clinic have had over the last five years. It will potentially expand Mayo Clinic's name recognition and standing in the European, Middle East and Asian markets where 24alife has a long-standing market presence.  As part of the agreement, the Mayo Clinic will also have minority ownership in Mikropis and the ability to use 24alife solutions for its employees across all Mayo Clinic Health System locations.

Mikropis's 24alife offerings deliver personalized solutions that set healthy lifestyle goals and provide education, activities and motivation to achieve a healthier and happier life. The partnership will offer 24alife users access to Mayo Clinic's expert content and research in addition to the extensive knowledge base of education, physical activity, nutrition and stress management information already incorporated in 24alife.  Mayo Clinic's Resilient Living content, Wellness Library and Health Information Library will be added to 24alife to provide one of the most comprehensive well-being interactive tools in the industry.

Janez Uplaznik, CEO and founder of both Mikropis Holding and the 24alife family of solutions, said both parties are excited to combine and present their knowledge and best practices to the public.

"This is a mutually beneficial partnership," Uplaznik said.  "The common goal of both organizations is to raise awareness of ways to achieve a healthy lifestyle and guide people toward healthier and happier lives. I also expect that the combination of Mikropis's technical capabilities that are incorporated into 24alife and The Mayo Clinic's well-being expertise will strengthen both of our organization's success in the global markets."
